Well,
it looks like a few months have again flown by
without the time to update what is happening.
Although Alexia was unable to show at zones as
Tommy had an infection she came back out in September
to the Red Deer show and really made up for it.
She was first under all 4 judges in Youth 14-18
western Pleasure and hunter Under saddle and first
under all 4 judges in Senior horse Western Pleasure
and Hunter Under Saddle. In her Equitation and
horsemanship classes she managed a few firsts
and the rest were seconds.
The
rest of the Hunter Hill crew were awesome at zones
Cristie Voth put a pile of points on her horse
Aleez Awesome Angel and came away with some money
in the futurity classes Cory Stachiw and Major
had a great show as well coming home with some
high point awards. Lorie Farley and Arnold placed
well in a few of their classes and for their first
APHA show Lorie was ecstatic.
Barb
Hazel and Hershey also did well in all of their
classes and hoping to be out again for next year.
Barb is also looking forward to riding Sophie
next year in the two year old classes and based
on her performance this year in lunge line Barb
should be pretty excited about showing in the
riding.
After
we thought we were done we suddenly made the decision
to head for Kansas and the Paint Horse Congress
. Alexia was thrilled to get a 5th placing out
of 24 in her Horsemanship class and although she
rode all the rest of her patterns incredibly well
nerves got the best of her and she managed to
change the patterns just enough to put he rout
of the ribbons. She is already planning for this
next year.
The
biggest news yet is that we have aquired a new
horse for Alexia called Two Prestigious AKA Mannie
and although we have only had him a short time
we already love him. It might take a while for
Ali to get used to riding a 16.1 hh horse but
so far it has all been pretty exciting. We sold
a number of good horses this summer including
Mona who we already miss terribly. We hope to
see all of them out this next year showing with
their new owners.
We
hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a
very happy New Year and we cant wait to see everyone
back in the show ring in 2008. Best wishes to
all for a wonderful winter.

It
was a great one. |
